R.” Zoe Blaq” Bartney is an interdisciplinary artist who holds an M.A. in Clinical Psychology and is a U.C. Master Gardener. Her project Urban Soul Farmers educates and gives communities hands-on experience with gardening and indigenous practices. Maggie Smart-McCabe is co-founder of Club Gay Gardeners, a native garden project featuring 20 species of flora particular to Southern California, located at the arts organization Junior High, Los Angeles.
