Born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, soaking up her parent’s eclectic tastes in music. Symone overcame stage fright, and fronted the Delta Stones, opening for Dumpstaphunk, the Muddy Magnolias and more. Mobile’s “Mistress of Soul” has been declared “On the Rise: Artist to Watch” and “Best Voice” and competed in national talent shows (Voice, Idol). She was to appear at the spring 2020 JTMF, but instead delighted us with a live stream from her front porch. SOOO excited to finally have her southern fried sultry soulfulness shower upon us.
