Following the international evolution of down tempo and house music while living around the world for 17 years, his 2014 return to Southern California and immersion in the local DJ scene inspired his own explorations in mixing. In early 2018 Long/Division started the Hi-Desert’s first DJ residency bringing electronic music to unsuspecting Landers crowds, spreading awareness and appreciation for the genre and sharing the stage with other emerging DJs. After years of roaming the JTMF dancefloors in blooming beavertail cactus and dancing Joshua Tree costumes, math teacher turned DJ Long/Division brings uplifting Tribal and Deep House to the stage.
