LMcG first began mixing music on her dual cassette Boombox. While the equipment and technology have evolved, LMcG remains dedicated to selecting just the right tracks not only for the moment but getting people on the dance floor. When she isn’t DJing, you will find her front-and-center dancing – her true happy place. In fact, it is this love that propelled LMcG to start learning the craft of mixing tracks in 2012. She pulls from a vast collection of music from deep house to nu disco and tech house to hip hop. While she has played various festivals, campouts, and clubs around the Bay Area and West Coast, her favorite venue is a good old-fashioned, push-the-couches-back Living Room Dance Party. LMcG lives for the exchange between DJ and new and old friends coming together for the love of music. She was at JTMF last May rock’n the Late Night Headphone House sets.
