Lisa Sanders is an electrifying harmonizer. Her heartfelt songs are genuine, with deep meaning and conviction.  A musical style that can only be described as a soulful country blues, her genres include folk pop, gospel, rock and jazz. Writing, singing and producing from her heart for over three decades, Sanders continues to make an impact in the musical world. Sanders has worked with musical legends including the Truckee Brothers, Lucinda Williams, Bonnie Rait, Al Green, BB King and Babyface, and has released 8 albums over the past 25 years. During pandemic times, Lisa hosted a weekly show online. These are relaxed, casual hourlong shows that are a balm for the anxiety of the times. “I really want to give out some love and comfort,” said Sanders. “When things are bad, we usually lean on the arts. That’s what we do when we need uplifting.”  She knew she wanted to become a songwriter when she was 14 years old, but it wasn’t until 10 years later, when she started singing at Java Joe’s (where Jewel, Jason Mraz and Steve Poltz also started), that she was noticed by a producer for an independent record label, which later signed her as an artist.

Says Steve: “I’ve known Lisa longer than I’ve known about pop tarts. She has the most engaging smile and warm hugs in the whole world. She will make you laugh and make you cry. You will want to see her again and again. I love her. Can’t wait for you to hear her songs and stories.”
