Lauren is a bodyworker, Yoga teacher and dance artist living in Yucca Valley, CA. She has been a somatic explorer her entire life, movement is her first and favorite language! All of Lauren’s work is rooted in our primal need for movement- she danced professionally in New York City for 6 years and has been a student of Yoga since the age of 16. Lauren started her journey as a bodyworker in 2017 and has been practicing Thai Massage ever since. Last year she completed studies in Mayan Abdominal Therapy and she has been a teacher of movement for over 13 years. Aside from her private practice in Yucca Valley, Lauren teaches yoga, breathwork and meditation at a drug and alcohol recovery center in Desert Hot Springs. When she is not working she enjoys cooking, dancing and gazing out into the beauty of the Mojave desert. She is humbled and overjoyed to be offering a partner Thai Massage playshop at the Joshua Tree Music Festival!
