Cindy Vo, aka DJ Cinergy, is a Queer multi-dimensional artist, dancer, music lover, and creator at heart, and will be rockin’ a sunset happy hour DJ set at the Art Gallery in the main music bowl on Friday evening. Cindy explores various dimensions through art, dance, and healing, and is also the creator of You Are Magik, a wellness hub that focuses on the eastern and western approaches to practical self-care. Cindy was born and raised in San Jose, CA, and now resides in Long Beach, CA. Cindy’s musical journey began in middle school, where her love for hip-hop culture blossomed through breakdancing, and her first introduction to DJing sparked then. Influenced by the eclectic sounds of underground parties, raves, live concerts, Soulection shows, and festivals, Cindy’s journey is a vibrant tapestry of experiences. Crafting CDs for loved ones during those early years planted the seeds for a lifelong passion for sharing music. As a proud alumni of Academy of Djs, Season 13, Cindy aspires to share music as a healing force, merging energy and music medicine with the hope to move and heal.
