3Boobs is an alias created by Elizabeth in 2013. She has been showing art around California ever since. This newer body of work is an expansion of previous stand-alone paintings into a narrative comic series. Each piece strings together to create a larger story, but they are not presented in a linear fashion. The story follows a wide array of characters as they navigate a post-apocalyptic and politically violent landscape. The themes are dark and reflective of current events, but the imagery and bright colors are inspired by children’s media from her childhood. The combination of these elements is an intentional celebration of holding onto your imagination and innocence in the face of a cruel world. The use of animals and anthropomorphic creatures represents Elizabeth’s admiration for symbiotic relationships in nature and a hope that humans can learn from them as our changing planet demands it.
