My-Dearest-Spoon is a returning member of Joshua Tree Music Tree Festival. She first tried to get in while still a student at Humboldt State University where she and her physics’s partner first attempted to send in applications in 2017 but were unsuccessful. She later got in as a live painter in 2021 when attendance was low due to the pandemic. The people at the festival are growing more familiar with her small paintings on blocks and her larger works on wood panels. Her larger works have been growing in style and are developing an anime look to them. The medium sized works have only been growing more beautiful with time as her skills with ink deepen. She tends to use a lot of black, white, red, and blue but will usually an in some green when she can and never prohibits the use of all colors. Right now she hopes to paint the most beautiful series of paintings possible and just go from there.
