Flowbox is a circus-style performance troupe providing specialty entertainment for events, as well as coaching for kids and adults. Flowbox was established as a grassroots organization in Palm Springs, CA in 2010, borne of two women’s dreams to bring circus to the So Cal desert communities. They recognized a need for accessible ways for people to create movement art within a supportive community, and began hosting underground circus shows and flow jams. Carried by the belief that circus arts are a powerful medium for accessing one’s inner child and innate creativity, they have dedicated their lives to sharing this with as many folks as possible! Joshua Tree Music Festival holds a very special place in their hearts, as they have been the resident circus troupe of the festival since 2012.”
