Deep, deep crate digger and high desert denizen, Uncle Abe, aka Abe Alvarez-Tostado, has been playing records since 1986. Abe will play almost anything and everything. He started playing clubs in San Diego, Palm Springs and L.A in the late 80’s. Then on to San Francisco in 1996 where he played every Thursday at Minna Street Gallery from ’96 – ’01. Spin it to win it; Abe has detonated dancefloors in Amsterdam, London, San Fran & LA. In 2013 when he and his beloved moved here to the high desert where he continues to voraciously add to his monstrous Record Collection and you can check out some of his live sets on his Facebook page – Uncle Abe’s Record Collection. Abe will get the party started here on THU eve in the Boogaloo Lounge, getting us fully warmed up for the Thumpasaurus set on the main stage.
