In accordance with information posted by CDC, CDPD and San Bernardino County, proof of vaccine or negative COVID tests will not be required to attend. Masks will not be mandated and are up to each individual.

If attending, we ask you monitor your health in the lead up to the event and take measures to avoid exposure. If you think you have been exposed to COVID or are experiencing symptoms, please reconsider attending.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ATTENDEES

  • Vaccine and/or negative COVID test prior to entry is highly recommended
    • Vaccines are your personal choice, we’re not here to discuss that
    • Rapid tests are cheap and easy and can help mitigate some risk.
    • Free testing is also widely available.
  • Please be mindful of and limit potential exposure in the lead up to the event
  • If you test positive for COVID within 2 weeks of the event start date, please contact us by the event start date with your order info as well as your positive test result we will gladly roll your tickets over to your choice of the next two events. To be considered for a refund test must be administered by a testing center or lab and show guest’s name.
  • As much as possible, please stay on site and avoid coming and going. Buy any supplies ahead of time. Food, drink and ice is available on site during the event. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing if you do need to leave site. You may be subject to a verbal health check upon re-entry.
  • COVID test 72 hours after the event – Especially if you live or interact with any immunocompromised or at-risk humans. Monitor your health and be mindful of your interaction with others until you know you’re in the clear.

COVID SAFETY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. By attending Joshua Tree Music Festival events, you expressly agree to comply with any and all rules and safety guidelines put in place by the event organizers, and voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, waiving all claims and potential claims against the event organizers, and their affiliated companies relating to such risks.

We ask that you not attend if any of the following is true for you or anyone in your party:

  • Within 14 days before attending the festival you have tested positive, or been exposed to someone who has tested positive for, COVID-19;
  • Within 48 hours prior to attending the festival, you have experienced symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., a fever of 100.4F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking muscle pain/achiness, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention);
  • Within 14 days prior to attending the festival, you have travelled to any international territory identified by federal or applicable state or local governments as being subject to travel or quarantine advisories due to COVID-19.

VACCINATION & TESTING FAQ

Attendees are not required to show proof of vaccine or negative test for entry. It is recommended that attendees are fully vaccinated and/or obtain a negative COVID test before attending the event.

WHAT IS FULLY VACCINATED? To be considered fully vaccinated you will need to have received your final dose of a two dose vaccine or your single dose vaccine at least 14 days prior to your arrival on site.

WHEN SHOULD I GET TESTED? It is ideal to get tested as close to arrival as possible. Rapid self-tests are affordable and readily available. Free community testing is also available in many areas.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I TEST POSITIVE? Thanks for being a responsible human and getting tested!
