July is a symbolist painter who grew up in a small town in Northern Idaho, and began her career painting at the age of 18 when she left the US to travel. She painted murals along the way to fund the plane tickets, and it was within this time she developed a fascination with articulating the human experience. Largely influenced by allegories, mythos, and alchemy she states , ‘I like to shed light on the dark things, illuminate dualities, and show the richness of emotions experienced amidst our lives.’ Her murals can be seen through multiple countries and US states, and her work on canvas has been exhibited in galleries in Santa Fe, NM, Taos, NM, and Los Angeles, CA where she currently resides.
