Wildlife Freeway is the musical project of multi-disciplinary creative, and Joshua Tree resident, Sunny A. Atema. Using piano, voice, guitar, melodica, kalimba and various instruments, Wildlife Freeway music and performances weave stories and sounds of Earth beings stepping out of time into the present musical moving stillness. Atema has toured with Kyp Malone, Erin Durant, and many other musical movers. Her latest album Sunny was recorded with Alex Ebert (Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros) producing and accompanying, in New Orleans. The album is spare & lucious & haunting & lovely.
