Harm Reduction Circle

Harm Reduction Circle approaches overdose prevention in the music & nightlife scene by providing realistic solutions. We support our diverse communities through education & easy-to-digest trainings alongside trip sitting support, on-site testing services, & easily accessible supplies like safer-use kits, & Narcan. During our 30-45 minute workshop we will be discussing the basics of harm reduction & what looks like in our music & nightlife communities. We will be providing information on substance testing, (substance testing will not be offered during the workshop) and discussing the opioid epidemic in how it’s directly affecting our local communities. We will distribute Fentanyl test strips along with a demonstration on how to use them and discuss how to recognize an overdose and how to properly respond. We will also discuss how to respond if there are no emergency services available (off the grid response). We’ll close out with Narcan training & distribution. Any remaining time will be Q&A.
