Mimi Gonzalez (she/her) graduated from Mills College in Oakland, California with an MFA in Creative Writing. Originally from Detroit, she has worked as a comedian in comedy circuits from women’s music festivals, Prides, protests, to USO-style military gigs including Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan and Japan. Locally, Mimi has facilitated writing workshops at the LA LGBT Center, Michigan’s Salus Center, Provincetown’s Women’s Week, Olivia and Vacaya cruises and more. Mimi meets writers of all levels where they are to help them reach their dreams!
