Larry Norris (he/him), PhD, studied biopsychology and cognitive science as an undergraduate at the University of Michigan, and defended his doctoral dissertation at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). His dissertation research analyzed ayahuasca-based archetypes of transformation and the integration process. Larry is the co-founder of Entheogenic Research, Integration, and Education (ERIE): an organization dedicated to the development of community education, research, and integration models related to entheogens. Larry is also a co-founder and board member of Decriminalize Nature (DN) and supports efforts nationwide to decriminalize entheogenic plants and fungi (e.g., ayahuasca, iboga, cacti, mushrooms).
Benjamin Manton (he/him) is a passionate advocate for plant medicine, harm reduction, and community education. As the owner of a thriving Smartshop and founder of San Francisco’s first psilocybin church, they have spent years fostering a space where education and safe access go hand in hand. With a background in conceptual performance art, counterculture movements, and compassionate outreach, Benjamin Manton is deeply committed to destigmatizing plant medicines through public outreach, policy advocacy, and immersive community experiences.
