2020 updates

We strongly believe that Community is Crucial and our hearts want nothing more than to gather and sing and dance and laugh together.

Due to current conditions, however, the May festival will not be happening. Community right now means being socially responsible and adhering to the CDC’s recommendations of social distancing for the well-being of ALL.

We hope you are all staying healthy and staying home. We are using this time to regroup and have our sights set on the Fall Fest in October being an exceptionally joyous reunion for us all! Read more.

Dirtwire aspires to be a collaborative celebration of the planet’s musical diversity, a testament to the power of music to reach across barriers as well as a powerful call to get up and hit the dance floor.

Blending elements of virtuosic jazz, groovy funk, and pulse-pounding electronic dance music.

Thumpasaurus

Los Angeles-based Thumpasaurus are a gang of five superbly-skilled young American musicians taking hugely divergent influences and channeling them into something uniquely Thumpasaurian.

MY BABY

Theirs is a sound informed by gospel and blues singing and playing fused with ancient folk melodies.

Diggin Dirt

Their musical influences range from afrobeat, reggae to rock, but always with an underlying theme of funky soul.

Afrolicious

The Afrolicious sound combines inspiring lyrics, funky bass lines, and a powerful horn section while retaining the soul and feel of classic funk, disco, Latin, and Afrobeat melodies.
